Nike Dunk High Premium Sb - Shoe Goo-
The inspiration & name originate's from the infamous shoe repair glue. The sticky shoe goo was fabricated in 1972 by Lyman Van Vliet, a 45- year-old senior executive at Hughes Aircraft Co. As a frequent player of tennis, Van Vliet was dissatisfied with the durability with the soles of his tennis shoes, so he sought a method to extend their life by repairing them with the sticky icky ouhhhh wiiiii. ya get me!!!!
Not much has been revealed as of yet about this interesting Nike SB drop, other than that it is a pair of Dunk Hi Premiums in a red/blue colorway, with a clear gum midsole. Based on Shoe Goo, which is a product used in skating for many purposes, it's the skaters go to product to fix sneakers that have gone to wear and tear beside's Vliet's tennis shoes.
This adhesives utilized to design this High-top dunk which features red cracked leather on the overlays, white toe box and swoosh giving back to the glue's package graphic. On the side panels and collar, there's a duct tape print, giving the nod to repair red skate shoes. The tongue is white and red looking like Shoe Goo's logo. Translucent midsole and red outsole.
These dunks make good use of treated coated canvas and crinkled patent leather, with that beautiful clear gum midsole only accenting the great looks of these kicks. Undoubtedly, these are some of the cleanest Dunks with that fat tongue. Nice and puffy, there’s not a lot of sb dunk’s with the fatty tongue so it’s a must cop!
