Designed by the legend Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air 90 ushered in a new decade of visible air. The sneakers featured a larger Air sole unit than its predecessor, alongside Thermoplastic Polyurethane detailing inspired by Italian Sports cars. The cropped Swoosh, dynamic mudguard and deconstructed toe made the shoe look fast even when standing still.
Undefeated, a fixture of authentic sneakers and apparel in LA, teamed up with Nike for the December 2019 debut of the Undefeated x Air Max 90. This reimagining of Tinker Hatfield's design foregoes a classic mixed-material approach, selecting premium leather for its upper in stark black. Solar Red calls attention to co-branded hits, the shoe's perimeter, Max Air unit and segments on the outsole. " Undefeated " lettering on the shoe's lace lock authenticates this special collaboration.
